David and Daniel were amazing! They were on time, professional, knowledgeable, and quick. Out of the 5+ companies I reached out to, this was the only one to send me a quote and actually show up to visit the property. They also were very flexible, working around my schedule, and they came in cheaper than estimated.

I hired Wilcox Electric twice recently and both times I've been impressed and satisfied with the service. The scheduling process is quick, professional and easy. Phones are answered promptly and the customer service rep was able to provide a quote without consulting an electrician or requiring that I wait for a call back. The estimators are extremely knowledgeable and helpful, listening to and suggesting an appropriate solution for each need. Then service was scheduled and/or provided quickly. I feel confident in the qualify of work provided and I find the prices to be reasonable. Working with Wilcox has been the smoothest experience I've had with any service provider.

At first, I was pleased by Wilcox Electric. They arrived promptly and diagnosed my blinking lights. Exterior meter box needed to be replaced, easy fix. They put me on the schedule for that week to do the repair for apx 2 hrs worth of labor charges + parts.
Then I decided to call and inquire (just ASK) what a full heavy up might cost, "just to explore my options" I told them on the phone "if one day I decided to add more appliances or something".
Within a couple hours they canceled my repair, stating they suddenly "...weren't comfortable working on an old service line and box". Then gave me an estimate to do a full heavy-up to 200 amps for $4300 !!!!
So basically, they weren't comfortable taking $400, but would be comfortable taking $4k+.
So I told them to go pound sand, then called another electrical company. Again, I asked this electrician to track down the issue. Same result that Wilcox had originally told me, "It's your meter box, easy fix".
"I don't need a heavy-up, or service lines replaced?" I asked the second company's electrician.
"No, you certainly don't need that. We fix electrical issues, not sell people things they don't need".
One hour and a few bucks later, my power is working perfectly. Plus a 5 year warranty. Wish I had called the other company first, would have saved me time and money.
Bottom line, call someone else. Anyone else. Do NOT trust Wilcox Electric. Totally dishonest.

Steve Wilcox is top notch and his office was more responsive and NICER than any other I contacted--I was given an appointment only two days out the first time I called and Steve not only showed up but was able to diagnose a pretty tricky arrangement with about 10 3-way / dimmer switch combinations across two floors, replace two bad breakers, and got everything wrapped up in only a few hours, and he let me help him in the process to save some time and money. Truly phenomenal experience.

This is our second time using Wilcox electric. Their service and attention to detail are incredible. I will be using them again in the future.
