Not the fanciest of places. Charged for eel sauce $.69 seems to be a great spot for a quick stop for lunch. Has some sewting area, no waitresses. Menu is pretty diverse in Asian cuisine. Fairly quiet.
My suggestions:
It's offering the ability to produce sushi and hibachi in a fast food manner. So the food was good. Your establishment can add a little flare to the garnishments you serve, experiment with different menu items including adding some yellowtail to the menu and keep it express as that is the majority of what your revenue will come from.
Offer some retention specials and change out the furniture so you give more of a modern sushi Cafe instead of a carryout. You have upscale clientele in the area that you can capture if you try.

So nice to finally have a Sakura in PG even if it is just an "express". The fact that it's only like 2 minutes from my house is a little dangerous, lol. The only downside is THE WAIT. Even if you call ahead you still have to wait in a line that goes out the door. They should have a separate area to speed that up some. It is supposed to be "express" afterall.

Warning Watch what you eat! Very bad experience. The finger tip of a rubber glove was discovered in my food after eating more than half. Very disgusting, just the thought of having a sweaty glove in my food. My family and I won't be back.

On Friday 4/29 I called in an order of sushi. My husband went in and gave them my order number and paid and came hone. When he got home it was someone else’s order. When I went back up there (10 minute drive) I accidentally left the wrong order at home. I was rushing because I had already lost time dealing with this. The manager wanted me to pay the difference between the wrong order and my actual order before she gave me my actual order. I reminded her that the inconvenience alone should cover that. She wasn’t able to communicate well in English, but well enough to keep trying to get me to pay the difference. And not addressing the fact that it was their mistake and that I had to use time and gas to go back up there while my family was home eating without me. Oh and they wanted the wrong order back. I told them I accidentally left it at home in my haste. I don’t even eat meat so it’s not like I ate it. And I reminded them that the wrong order had been in my house and opened so it’s not like they could serve it to anyone else. But I believe that was their plan and it’s why they wanted it back. I didn’t pay the difference and I left without my actual order. .
