I suggest you call, and place your order. They only offer take out. If you do order there, the wait is about 20 minutes. I really enjoyed the Creole Shrimp, & Grits. Never had it like that before. It was different, but it was good. The Bayou Shimp Pasta is also a good choice.

This is our favorite spot to hit whenever we are craving soul food. The price is great for the portion sizes and delicious food you get. catfish and fried chicken are bomb, and the collard greens and Mac and cheese are amazing as well.
The catfish is a good size and nicely breaded and crispy. fried chicken is good too. all the food is made fresh to order except the sides. each meal comes with choice of biscuit or cornbread, both of which are also very good.
personally love the collard greens and mac and cheese. some reviews say it's just "okay" but I think they're better than okay! also had the string beans and good as well.
when ordering online, they say they will text you when order is ready and haven't had issues yet personally but Ive seen issues for others.
overall great and will keep coming back!

I ordered chicken wings and baked salmon. My order was supposed to be ready at 5:08 and it wasn't ready until 5:38. After waiting 10 min after expected time, I went in to check on my order. The reason it was taking long was because someone forgot to put the salmon in the oven on time. One of the girls at the register found this amusing and laughed. I went back to my car and waited another 20 min until I got a text that my order was ready. I got a halfhearted apology, got my food, and went home. The salmon was bland, the chicken wings seem like they had been sitting the entire time in the container while the salmon cooked, as they were nearly room temp and not crispy. One of the chicken wings were old and inedible.
The collard greens and sweet tea were the only items we got that were enjoyable.
I don't think I'll be back. I don't think anyone cares how late my order was. And no one bothered to fry the wings so that they were fresh with the salmon. This is one of the few soul food spots around me and it's too bad I can't trust the quality anymore.

The food was just meh for us... definitely not worth the price we paid. The website says dine in is an option, it's not. If we had known that, we would have called our order in. The regulars knew this so although there were beef ribs on the line, they were reserved for the call in orders. The fried whiting was thin, the mac and cheese was made with processed cheese and my biscuit was overcooked. I don't eat pork but my daughter wasn't impressed with the greens. The fried wings were good. Others obviously like it but I won't be returning.

I ordered the salmon & grits and it was amazing! A very good portion size, will be at least 2 meals for me. My order was ready a full 10 mins before the quoted time. Will be back.
