I initially came here a few weeks ago for an emergency visit. The staff and Vet are very pleasant and welcoming. They examined my pup, ran some test and prescribed meds to get him back to himself. The treatment we received won us over and our family will now use Life Companion for our Vet needs. We returned for a follow up appointment and wellness visit. Again, the staff and Vet are awesome. No pressure to purchase, just recommendations and honest input. If you care about your fur baby and want a place that will make you feel comfortable, this is a great place to bring them. You will be pleased with the service and respect they provide.

Dr. Kinney and her staff are so amazing! Ms Benita (who’s her mother) gives such a welcoming feeling once you walk in through the doors and the customer service is phenomenal here. My dog, Uso, has been a client of Dr. Kinney since he was 8 weeks old and care and service he’s received within the past 2.5 years is truly the best. Dr. Kinney and her techs are very patient and take the time to listen to any questions you may have, and explain the issue your pet may be having throughly.

I have a dog named Lulu. She is a golden retriever. She has been a patient of Dr. Kinney since she was a little puppy. Unfortunately, we have to move to Va. we will truly miss Dr. Kinney, Benita and the whole staff of Life Companion Hospital. Benita is such a nice person. Always helpful with clients and always with a smile on her face.
They were so good to Lulu. They always do a follow up the day after your appointment. They never miss that follow up call. They are so busy and they try to squeeze you in if you have an emergency. I will give them a 5 star. They deserve that. Good luck to Dr. Kinney and to Life Companion. Erlinda Carpenter

My dog had to be put to sleep because this vet failed her. They did not do the necessary things from the info that we (pet owners) gave them. The medications given weren't even for what the actual issues were, and were also inflated monetarily. If there was a zero rating, I'd give this vet a ZERO! A BIG FAT ZERO FOR FAILURE!!!

Thoughtfulness, care, and attention to the pet has been replaced by financial gain in this place. Vets are more concerned with lining their pockets while misleading you so they can have you return once again ; to again-pad their pockets!!! It is a shame, and prompt-swift legal action will be administered until all avenues have been exhausted!!!

Life Companions' Veterinary Hospital is new to Bowie and I would like to welcome them. They provided amazing service for my new puppy. They got him in right away and the front staff is very friendly and pleasant, the vet tech is very caring and you can tell she loves animals and Dr. Kinney is very knowledgeable and talked to me about everything my puppy needed. I would highly recommend them and my puppy will definitely be going back. Welcome to Bowie Dr. Kinney!
