Do NOT do business with J&P! They were willing to leave my infant daughter without heat for five days without communicating with us. When they did finally respond, they attempted to price gouge me by charging $725 for 45 minutes worth of work.
When I called them to ask for a better price, especially in light of a five day delay, the owner, Chris’ response was essentially, “best I can do is $50, your trouble isn’t worth anymore to us.” When I insisted further that $675 was still not proportional to 45 minutes worth of work, Chris’ eventual response was, “fine, pay whatever you want but do us a favor and then lose our number.”
So, in short, J&P is unprofessional, uncommunicative, and overpriced. GO ELSEWHERE.

Did not properly charge me for my bill then tried to collect a balance almost a year later. Additionally they improperly serviced our HVAC system, missing a clog that cause a leak in our ceiling. Then refused to waive the service fee even though they did not perform their job correctly.

We were without heat for several weeks after our apartment complex changed our thermostat. After having several contractors constantly attempt to fix the issue, J&P ‘s technician, Steven M., to come in and resolve the issue all while explaining what the previous contractors failed to do. He was very professional, proficient and knowledgeable and answered our concerns with an empathetic response. We thank him and your company for your help!

I had bought a new heat pump less than 8 years ago from this company and have had numerous problems. Recently they told me that I bought from them a poor quality unit and should call the manufacturer myself to see if they could help me. Even though I bought it from them they offered no help. They were going to email me all the repair history and of course they never sent me anything. The manufacturer offered to do nothing so I had 2 different companies look at the system. Both said that the unit was never installed properly and that was part of the problem. I paid J&P at least $1,000.00 to tell me I had a leak in the system. One company found it just using soapy water. J&P tech not showing up, no return phone calls, promises not kept, etc. I bought a new system from another company that services all my company units which is 14 in total. I would tell anyone not to use J&P !!!

Had service tech ( Jeremy ) come out to charge a/c unit with freon very quick service and Jeremy was polite, knowledgeable and professional but the price for service call a dye test and 5 LB of freon was $785.00 thought price was extremely high but wanted my air to work and had an emergency call for my business to get too. Called my HVAC man in Colonial Beach VA later I own three houses there, they pay $400.00 for a 30 LB tank of R 22 that's $13.33 per LB x 5 = $66.65, I am a business owner for 35 years and managed four others before that so I understand about mark up and overhead but that was ridiculous.
