(2020) It is so sad that Helen seems lost her professionalism. I could tell her response getting worse in past year. Though this year we submitted documents as soon as they are available in February and she left them for 2 weeks just saying "I forgot about it", then wrote "will do tomorrow" and left it again for 2 times. She did not explain even why, if she did I would have understood some. She snappily hang up my phone call for inquiry too. After the second time of "tomorrow" did not happen, I took out all the documents and left. We just lost a month waiting for her. Farewell.
Response: It did have receipts in French and I attached detailed explanation document in English as summary, so you could just verify the prices in Euro. Your reply just proves you did not even look it. You could have said you cannot handle it or takes how long, though you just kept saying "I will do" unresponsively, without mentioning any reasonable explanation and it cannot be distorted. So disappointing I received this update.
(2017) Helen is very knowledgeable and kind. She helped us a lot for this year's tax preparation with much more reasonable fee than H&R Block on post charged us last year. I do appreciate it and strongly recommend her service to everyone!

Helen has been helping me with my taxes since I started my business 3 years ago. She responds quickly and answers my question thoroughly. I contacted Helen in early 2020 to help me out with filing both my individual and business tax returns. This was my first year paying taxes as an independent business owner, and needless to say I needed some (a lot of) help figuring out the best way to approach my taxes. Helen was helpful, responsive, and took the time to walk me through everything we needed to do to file my tax returns. Further complicating this was a mid-year move, along with various other issues that I hadn't considered. Throughout the whole process, Helen was knowledgeable, helpful, reassuring, and incredibly thorough. If that's not enough, her rates are more than fair for the level of service provided. Working with Helen was an excellent experience and I would highly recommend her services.

Helen's Accounting Service is a boutique tax firm that is not too small to handle incredibly large matters or too big to take the personal care in handling smaller matters. Whether the matter is a personal tax return or a business tax matter with the IRS, this tax firm is a jewel in the Nile. I stake my entire reputation on the integrity, professionalism and value of this firm. Only wish I have known about it sooner.
