I have been bringing my dog to Central Bark Landover for weekly daycare, boarding, and recently grooming for about 6 months. My dog and the others who come all clearly love the staff and facility. My dog can barely contain himself once we turn onto their street. He comes home tired and uninjured. The one time there was an issue with another dog they called immediately. My Max and I love them and I have recommended them to others without any reservation.

The prices are the most expensive I have ever seen and prices on the website are confusing. My dog was extremely matted and the grooming cost were going to be $200. I told the owner I would cut him down myself to which she thought I said “put him down”. She sent me a long email stated that she has found a home for my dog and tha if I decided not to euthanize him. I started crying in my hotel and spend the last day of my vacation with anxiety. This could have been a phone call to clarify if my words were misunderstood. I paid more the other locations to hand piece of mind not anxiety. When I returned I realized I misinterpreted the boarding prices and my dogs price would be $65/night might not $55. I have stayed in 4 star hotels for less money per night. Will not be back.
A few days after I left a bad review the owner of this place called animal control on me because I wouldn’t pay $200 for dog grooming. I have the emails from the owner claiming I was planning on euthanizing my dog which she made up and saying she found him a home for him. He left the vet 1 week before and the vet found my dog to be in good health. The owner is a wack job!!!!

This place is fantastic. Our dog goes to daycare there every week. And it’s amazing how the staff treat all the dogs. It’s not just a business transaction, they all genuinely care for the dogs. The staff knows the personality of each dog and exactly how to handle them.

I took my pup here for day care based on the Google reviews. I wasn’t disappointed! Mickey was so friendly and explained all the paperwork I needed to review and sign, showed me around the indoor/outdoor play areas, and explained what my
Puppy’s first day was going to look like. All the staff were so friendly and they even gave me a handwritten report card at the end of the day. I’ll definitely be using them for play and grooming!
