Absolutely splendid. Bookstore movers were quick, communicative, and kind. Coordinating with their office to arrange the move was easy and efficient. They went above and beyond checking to make sure I was getting all the help I needed. On day-of, their movers were SUPER friendly, careful, kind, and efficient. These guys had my one bedroom in the truck and into my new place within two hours. Excellent chaps, would absolutely recommend to everyone. I will be using them again in the future.

My experience with Bookstore Moves was outstanding. The planning of the move was effective. The office was responsive, and they worked well with me to rearrange the details of the move. The office followed up when it was needed. I was particularly impressed by the people I worked with, The packers were careful and made sure I was happy with how the packing went. More than that, they were pleasant and aimed to make my move the easiest possible. This is a locally owned company and both the dedication of the people working and the effort to ensure my expectations were met reflect that dedication to service the community. We had an exceptional experience with Bookstore Movers and will definitely use them again for future moving needs. All the communications were great -- the representatives we patient and answered our many questions and ensured we were synced up leading up to move day. On move day, the team was prompt and courteous. All team members introduced themselves and did a fantastic job moving everything. We were surprised with how quick and efficient the team was!

These movers are INCREDIBLE. They moved the contents of my over-stuffed one bedroom apartment down three flights of stairs, across the city, and into my new apartment in UNDER THREE HOURS door to door. A final count of nearly sixty boxes of stuff, including 20-ish boxes of incredibly heavy books, disappeared out the door in minutes. The crew was efficient, fast, and careful with my stuff. Nothing got broken on the way. Their customer service was clearer and easier to understand when getting a quote than any other mover I contacted. The list of furnishings you submit when you ask for the quote was unique among the movers I looked at - it felt like submitting this list really helped me get the exact right-sized truck and team I needed. Book with them - you won't regret it!

Movers showed up on time but were not respectful of my things and rushed. When I gave them direction such as not rolling a marble table as it would chip, they were dismissive. Likewise when I asked that multiple people carry a table to not damage it and my walls. For some items I offered to assist in carrying as I felt two people needed to carry the item vs one. They declined and said they wound get one of the other two movers to help, then at times proceeded to move the item alone when I was out of view.
The most egregious was with my tv, a mover picked up a 65 inch tv from the center lifting it overhead, cracking the frame and ruining the tv. It was aggressively dumb. To make it worse they put the tv in my basement, stacked boxes in front of it and told me they were done before I signed and they left. Immediately after I noticed and reached out the movers, who admitted to breaking the tv and put me in touch with unhelpful operations.
Entire experience has left me annoyed and without a tv that was approximately twice as much as the move. FYI they do not cover TVs not in original packaging even if one of their movers hulks it overhead and cracks it.
