AJ Long was out to my house to install a portable generator power inlet box, as well as a generator interlock and new breakers within my existing panel. Jason was our technician, and was incredible. On time, answered any questions we had, and installed quality work. He even went above and beyond during the next storm we had, and called me to walk me through the steps (as we had previously walked through when he did the install) just to make sure I was comfortable with hooking up the generator and transferring power from the main to my generator. Awesome folks, and we will definitely be using them for any future needs.

Mohammad did an excellent job! He fixed a few of our outlets super quick. He also did a great job replacing our ceiling fan, even fixed an issue with the fan making a loud noise. I would definitely recommend this business for any electrical needs!

I completely trust Long. Electric. They've been my electricians for 30 years, and I was familiar with their work previously from GWU Physical Plant in the early 80s.
Professional, friendly, excellent work, and they are honest. I've gotten other estimates on a job recently, and I will just say there's a huge difference. They don't work on commission like a lot of others do so they aren't trying to sell a whole-house rewire when the problem is isolated to one spot - for example. Best there is!!

Work was to install an outlet for a washer in an old condo that contains lots of block walls. Electrician needed to cut a couple of holes in dry wall ceiling to help with routing the wire and he screwed the cutouts back after completion. Completed in 2.5 hours. Very competent and neat.
